Dear Representative Knollenberg,
I have become very
concerned with the direction the Bush administration has been leading our
country. I am very disheartened with the representation that our government
officials are providing for the people of United States of America. We
deserve honest forth coming actions from those who represent us. The Bush
administration is leading us in to a War based on the President's directives and
desires. As a democracy we should be setting an example that exudes peace
and harmony, rather than war and greed.
I request that you, as
a representative of the people, voice our opinions loud and clear, so there is
no mistaking, that we DO NOT want to go to war to fulfill the desires of
an administration who has expressed them selves as arrogant and give the world
the impression that the United States of America is a bully.
The Bush
administration and their policies will divide this country to a point of
internal conflicts and national discord, if we are not mindful of what
is truely a threat to our country and people.
"No man is good enough to govern
another man without that other's consent. . . . These United States of America
can never be destroyed from forces outside its borders. If America falls, it
will fall from within. Brought down by apathy. When good people do nothing,
Anarchy reigns." -
Abraham Lincoln in a 1854 letter to Congress
"We the people are the
rightful masters of Congress and the courts, not to overthrow the Constitution,
but to overthrow men who pervert the Constitution." - Abraham Lincoln
Sincerely
