Several Photo Gallery Sections have been constructed AND THE OTHERS I AM WORKING to upload.

The first was PAPILIONIDAE, now followed by PIERIDAE, LYCAENIDAE,  RIODINIDAE, NYMPHALIDAE,

and finally the HESPERIIDAE.

The name of the file for each photo in the Butterfly Family photos uses the numbering system in Volume 40  2008
THE JOURNAL OF RESEARCH ON THE LEPIDOPTERA by Jonathan P. Pelham.
The last numeral following the Pelham number and before the name of the Photographer is the number sequence for the photo of that species or subspecies. The scientific name per Pelham is following by the sex.

ENJOY, as the photos represent the species and subspecies of Michigan Butterflies and Skippers.

Personal photos galleries are forthcoming,  Photos by Ted Herig and Harry D. King are presented as experimental galleries, and a butterfly photo gallery by Dwayne R. Badgero with photos taken in 2008 is now uploaded for your pleasure..

Future sections will be constructed with photos by other MI Lep Survey members such as:
